ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Immy Walker, and I am the proud owner of The Cheshire Sports Injury Clinic. I’d like to share insights into my professional background and the services I provide.

I offer both face-to-face and online services across the Cheshire region, specialising in Sports Rehabilitation, Strength & Conditioning, and Injury Prevention.

I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019 with a First-Class Honours degree in Sport Rehabilitation and Exercise Science (BSc). Since then, I have continuously expanded my expertise through professional development, obtaining qualifications as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Matwork Level 1 Pilates Instructor, Ante & Postnatal Pilates Instructor, Dry Needling Therapist, and Cupping Therapist.

As a musculoskeletal specialist and healthcare professional, I am deeply passionate about my work. My primary goal is to ensure that my clients feel strong, confident, and pain-free, both physically and mentally.

I specialise in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including but not limited to:
🔹 Acute and chronic sports injuries (e.g. ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendonitis)
🔹 Overuse injuries (e.g. runner’s knee, shin splints, tennis elbow)
🔹 Postural imbalances and movement dysfunctions
🔹 Lower back and neck pain
🔹 Pre- and post-operative rehabilitation (e.g. ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, joint replacements)
🔹 Joint and mobility issues (e.g. osteoarthritis, frozen shoulder)
🔹 Rehabilitation for neurological and degenerative conditions
🔹 Injury prevention and return-to-sport programs

I thrive on the challenge of helping individuals recover from injuries, working closely with them to restore optimal function and performance. My approach combines hands-on therapy, movement-based rehabilitation, and tailored strength & conditioning programs to ensure the best possible outcomes.

I believe that education is key in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. I stay up to date with the latest research and evidence-based practices to deliver the highest standard of care.

Everyone is unique, with different needs and requirements. My approach focuses on personalised, progressive, and sustainable training and nutrition strategies to support long-term health and well-being.

I am dedicated to helping my clients recover, perform, and thrive, ensuring they receive tailored, effective, and professional care at every stage of their journey.
